Tengri x Huntsman: Cut From a Different Cloth

Pioneering a new heritage of sustainable luxury, Tengri has introduced a luxurious and rare cloth woven from Khangai Noble Yarns® – named for their superior qualities – sourced from the Khangai yak, an ancient beast dating back 10,000 years.

Until today, these noble fibres have remained largely unexplored by textile designers and makers. The fibres’ journey takes them from western Mongolia’s steppe mountains to the heritage mills of Yorkshire, and the cutting tables of Huntsman, the world’s most prestigious tailors, on Savile Row.

Join Nancy Johnston, Tengri’s CEO and Founder, and Campbell Carey, Huntsman Head Cutter and Creative Director, for an intriguing conversation about cuts and rare cloth, charting its journey from the steppes of Mongolia to Savile Row.

This partnership journey about true sustainable luxury demonstrates the positive effects a single ream of cloth can have on livelihoods, animals and the planet.
