Tengri x Huntsman

Pioneering a new heritage of sustainable luxury, Tengri has introduced a luxurious and rare cloth woven from Khangai Noble Yarns® – named for their superior qualities – sourced from the Khangai yak, an ancient beast dating back 10,000 years. Until today, these noble fibres have remained largely unexplored by textile designers and makers. The fibres’ journey takes them from western Mongolia’s steppe mountains to the heritage mills of Yorkshire, and the cutting tables of Huntsman, the world’s most prestigious bespoke tailors, on Savile Row. Huntsman, the esteemed Savile Row tailor, has an extraordinary history that stretches back over 165 years. The house creates impeccable bespoke suiting for the most discerning clientele that includes nobility, royalty, statesmen and iconic Hollywood stars. Huntsman has always prided itself on its rich heritage and longstanding reputation as one of the best and yet innovative bespoke tailors on Savile Row.

"We constantly strive to offer our customers the most exclusive and luxurious beds – this often means looking closely at the provenance of the carefully-selected materials we choose to use. With this in mind, we are hugely excited about our collaboration with Tengri, who create their yarns using natural materials carefully sourced each year from some of the most rural and remote corners of the world." – Alistair Hughes, Managing Director, Savoir Beds
